Why I Started This Blog

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Ever tried to learn something important, only to find that all the good information is locked away behind jargon, buried in 200-page documents, or trapped in someone’s head?

That’s exactly what happened to me in project finance and Energy infrastructure.

I’d spend weeks hunting down answers to basic questions.

I’d read contracts that felt like they were written in a foreign language.

This blog exists because I got tired of the hard way being the only way.

What You’ll Find Here

This isn’t your typical finance blog with generic advice and stock photos of handshakes.

Instead, you’ll get:

  • Real breakdowns of complex deals — I’ll walk you through actual project structures, not textbook theory
  • The questions I wish I’d asked earlier — and the answers I eventually found
  • Honest takes on what works and what doesn’t — including my own mistakes and lessons learned
  • Everything explained like you’re smart (because you are) but new to this space (because we all were once)

My Promise to You

If you stick with me to the end of any post, you’ll understand the concept.

Not sort of understand it.

Not get the gist of it.

Actually understand it well enough to explain it to someone else.

I break down every technical term.

I use real examples instead of abstract theory.

I connect the dots between concepts so you see the bigger picture.

And here’s the best part — I’m always available for questions.

Confused about something I wrote?

Want me to dive deeper into a specific topic?

Need help applying these concepts to your own situation?

Just reach out.

I remember what it felt like to be lost in this world of tax equity structures and power purchase agreements.

I’m not going to leave you there.

What This Really Is

This blog is my attempt to be the resource I wish I’d had when I started.

It’s not polished corporate content.

It’s not trying to sell you anything.

It’s one person sharing what they’ve learned with others who are figuring it out too.

Because the renewable energy transition is too important for knowledge to stay locked away in boardrooms and legal documents.

The more people who understand how these deals work, the faster we can build the clean energy future we need.
